Peter Barry
I am a sport and exercise psychologist in training (SEPiT) through the BASES SEPAR, with a background in occupational health and wellbeing. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science, and a Master’s degree in Psychology of Sport and Exercise. I have a long history as an athlete, predominantly playing Rugby Union where I represented my home county, both of the Universities I attended, and played BSR, Nat 1, and Nat 2 league Rugby. I also have varying levels of experience with Boxing, Athletics (throwing), and Ultra Endurance Running (to my own disbelief…).
I am currently working in the field of occupational health and wellbeing, and also have a background as a Rugby Analyst, as a teaching assistant. I have experience in developing and delivering psycho-educational workshops in a supervised capacity, multi-disciplinary development, and qualitative and quantitative research through the completion of my bachelor’s and master’s degree. I founded and produced the discussion based podcast titled “Performance By Design” in the last year of my masters degree and continue to produce this to this day.
